Getting prepared

This is the rollercoaster picture I promised yesterday. This was taken from my phone, I'm kinda impressed. So, I'm having my gall bladder removed tomorrow morning and I've been trying to get prepared tonight. This involved preparing tomorrow's meal so that all Chris has to do is put it in the oven, packing Sydney for mom's (which I still haven't done), washing towels, doing the dishes, and showering (not done that either). Sydney wanted to play outside when we got home tonight, so we went fishing for a little while and I told her that I was going to have surgery. She said "I don't want you to have surgery." When I asked her why, she said "Cause I love you." Awww, she's just melts my heart sometimes.
So, I guess I should stop here and get those other two things done so I can get to bed. Wish me luck everyone, and I will let you know how it goes!

Ok, so first I must say, I apologize that the picture doesn't match what I'm blogging about, but I really needed to practice uploading a picture, since I was apparantly doing it wrong. I feel so much better now. Anway, Monday night, we took Sydney to our local fair. We've been living here 6 years and it's the first time we've went! Of course, we first made our rounds to the rabbits, chickens, goats, sheep and of course, for those of you who know me best, PIGS! Sydney had spotted the rides and waited patiently until we had done everything else. We knew once we hit the rides, it was over. She had only ridden a couple rides before, and she went crazy this time! She went on her first roller coaster and that was hilarious! Her facial expressions were priceless. Which only proves that I need a little camera to keep in my purse at all times. I do have one from my phone that I swore I emailed to myself, but apparantly not. So, that picture will surface tomorrow on here. Anyway, gotta go for now. But a big thanks for Kelly, who showed me the proper way to upload pics.

Our Little Picnic

Last night we were lying in bed and Sydney declared that she wished she could have a picnic. I have no idea where this came from, but I told her that today after church, we'd take some food and a blanket down by the pond and have a picnic. She was so excited about this and when we got home, I made some sandwiches and filled a basket with other necessities.
Aside from the basket handle that broke once I picked it up and the sandwiches on the floor, it was a success. Sydney also wanted to fish when we were done eating so we did that for a little while, but it was pretty hot outside, so we didn't last too long out there.
